A brief history...

Marguerite first launched in 2018, the dream of Claire Devereux, to step away from her career in IT, and embark on something she was truly passionate about, bringing garden spaces to life. Bringing joy and harmony brought the same back to her.

She threw herself in, finding work in nurseries, landscaping teams and leading maintenance teams, all the while studying horticulture and garden design, to pursue her dream.

In December 2020, Claire passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. Marguerite was reluctantly closed down soon after, and for a time, her dream was put on hold.

I'm Claire's husband, Steve, and it wasn't long before I was finding an increasing interest in horticulture and design, since it felt like a link to Claire. In 2023, I decided to leave my own tech career behind, to retrain and revive Claire's dream, which by now, was mine too.

Since then, I've studied at Capel Manor College, while re-establishing Marguerite, and growing a wonderful base of regular clients, delivering garden services and design projects, and collaborating with other gifted new designers.

Today I'm committed to bringing that outdoor joy, that will always be a bit of Claire, back into the world...
